This large thick cayenne pepper is a sweeter variety than the thin smaller cayenne. It is used in all of the poplar Louisiana style hot sauces on the market today. It is salted, fermented and aged. Our sauce is made from fresh chiles. It makes a HUGE difference and it is much lower in sodium. One taste and I’m sure you will be delighted and may never go back to those big National brands! Enjoy.
